Clock in via smartphone
Employees open Klox in their phone's browser and clock in with two taps. You can place Klox as an icon on the home screen, so it already feels like an app without anything to install. The full mobile app for iOS and Android is expected at the end of Q3 2026; it comes with your subscription at no extra cost. Location verification optional. Works offline too: data syncs as soon as there is a connection.
Clock in via browser
No app required: every employee can clock in through a regular web browser on computer or tablet. Ideal for office and back-office environments.
NFC badge (kiosk) - in development
For production halls, warehouses or hospitality: a kiosk tablet with an NFC reader, where employees tap their badge. This terminal is still in development and therefore not yet available to order. Let us know if you need it and we will keep you posted. In the meantime you clock in via the browser.
Append-only registration
Raw clock data is never overwritten or silently altered. This is the legal backbone of the system: objective and reliable, as the law requires.
Traced corrections
Errors in records are corrected through a separate, traced correction process. Every correction states the reason, the author and the timestamp. The original record is always retained.

5-year retention obligation
All records are kept for at least 5 years, as required by law. They remain exportable for the employee, the employer and the inspectorate throughout the entire retention period.
